In addition to over 20 years experience in massage therapy clinical practice, I have also dedicated much time to interests in various aspects of natural health. An example of some of those interest areas include: diet and nutrition to assist with arthritis, relaxation techniques to assist the nervous system recover from stress spirals and positive psychology to help create shifts. I have enjoyed teaching massage, facilitating workshops, providing event massage and aromatherapy product development. Currently my interest focus is on learning to understand the role of mindfulness and its positive effects on stress management, pain relief, anxiety and depression. My clinical work generally reflects, to some degree, these interest areas. The actual manual therapy is also a combination of over twenty years of acquiring new techniques and skills, integrating such modalities as, but not limited to: sports massage, manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial cupping, shiatsu, chinese accupressure.
