Peta graduated from James Cook University in Townsville in 2013 and has since worked as a speech pathologist with children in a range of settings, specialising in the Educational Context. Peta is passionate about work with children who are about to or have already commenced school.
Peta works with children with all kinds of communication and mealtime difficulties, including speech (including childhood apraxia of speech), language, fluency, literacy, behaviour and social difficulties. Peta is passionate in supporting children with a disability and has extensive experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum.
Peta regularly engages with the latest professional development and is a certified practising speech pathologist (CPSP) registered with Speech Pathology Australia. She is familiar with all nature of referrals and funding agencies, including HCWA/Better Start, NDIS, CCP/EPC Medicare plans.
