Tash completed her Exercise Physiology degree at the University of Queensland. Through her studies she developed a passion for improving quality of life through exercise in light of the physiological, psychological and neurological changes elicited by exercise. She has been involved in the planning and delivery of phase 2-3 cardiac rehabilitation along with exercise treatment for the management of type diabetes mellitus (T2D), neurological and developmental conditions (i.e. dyspraxia, ASD, MS, PD), fibromyalgia and musculoskeletal conditions. Through her honours research she also had the opportunity to delve into exercise-based treatment avenues for lower limb lymphedema following gynaecological cancer. Growing up, Tash was involved in a myriad of team and individual sports, with competitive focus directed towards gymnastics and distance running. She has continued involvement with distance running, engaging in events such as the 21km event in the 'Venados Gran Maraton Pacifico'
