Rashelle Cohen is a neurodevelopmental optometrist with over 30 years of experience. She has worked as a tutor at the Victorian College of Optometry, clinician at the Low Vision Institute and optometrist at the International Diabetes Institute. She is the clinical optometrist for the Fragile X Alliance Clinic in Melbourne and has seen many families who have been affected by Fragile X Syndrome.
She joined the Caulfield Family Medical Practice in 2010, and offers full assessments for children and adults, specialised care for people with diabetes and neurological conditions , and works with both children and adults who have learning issues. She is very active in the area of paediatric optometry, learning related visual assessment, myopia control , dry eye assessment and treatment. She offers standard functional and perceptual assessments as well as vision therapy, visual field testing, and retinal photography.
