Dr Alison Simmons (BOst) qualified with a BOst (Bachelor of Osteopathy) in 2004, from the British School of Osteopathy, the oldest and largest Osteopathic schools in the UK.
She worked in several practices in the UK, as well as running her own clinic, before relocating to Canberra in 2012. Alison is registered with AHPRA, The Australian Osteopathic Association and the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
Before training to become an Osteopath she worked for many years in finance and banking in the City of London. Although she had a very successful career in finance she did not find the work fulfilling and decided on a complete career and life change. She no has absolute satisfaction in her work as an Osteopath due to the nature of her work and the flexibility of the job that allows her to work and still spend plenty of time bringing up her two girls.
