Steve Davis brings a wealth of diverse experience having completed his biological sciences degree while at college in the United States of America where he was on a Basketball scholarship.
As well as a keen interest in basketball and sports, Steve has a professional interest in complex rehabilitation and physiotherapy treatment for physical and neurological conditions. He continues to benefit from his experience in rehabilitation working at Rankin Park Unit on site at the John Hunter Hospital.
Steve enjoys utilising a whole person approach to enable clients to be as functionally independent and active as possible. Special areas of interest include community aged care, postural control and lower limb biomechanics in sportspeople.
Steve is the cliche ‘gentle giant’ with a kind and considerate demeanour, but has a competitive edge with a growth mindset to continually develop and improve as a physiotherapist.
