Mr Alan A Wan - Physiotherapist New Farm

Alan is a locally trained physiotherapist whose treatment style focuses on hands-on manual techniques combined with a personalized exercise program to address underlying muscular strength and control deficits. He has been awarded his advanced dry needling certification which allows him to integrate western acupuncture into the treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Since graduating from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours, Alan has worked in private practices across Brisbane’s south side. He has a keen interest in the management of headaches, neck pain and shoulder pain and has completed the Watson Headache Course in Sydney. He is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy Program at the University of Queensland where his research is centered on the role of physiotherapy management following whiplash injuries.
