Julie began teaching pilates in 2011 and is a fully qualified STOTTS Pilates instructor. Julie also holds a Certificate IV as an Allied Health Assistant and Certificate IV in Fitness. Prior to teaching pilates, she was an enthusiastic student of pilates for some 11 years! Julie holds Level 2 membership with Pilates Alliance Australasia and as such maintains the required ongoing educational requirements, allowing her to constantly improve and hone her teaching methods, practices and knowledge. She has the privilege of working as a clinical pilates instructor at Williamstown Osteopathy & Pilates where she works alongside amazing Osteopaths treating a wide variety of injuries and issues including spinal injuries and conditions, pre and post natal issues, hip and knee replacements, shoulder and neck injuries and issues and also gets the opportunity to work with athletes to improve their form and function, helping them achieve their physical best in their chosen athletic pursuits.
