Nicole is a registered psychologist who sees clients in her private practice in Brisbane. Nicole works with people experiencing psychological suffering who want relief from this as well as a greater understanding of their experiences and themselves. Nicole sees the role of therapy as providing a space for clients to think, understand and ultimately grow through their experiences and to see themselves and their life in different ways. Nicole practices primarily within a psychodynamic (or psychoanalytic) framework and draw from acceptance and commitment, cognitive-behavioural and dialectic behavioural approaches when this is suitable for a specific client. Nicole frequently incorporate self-compassion and mindfulness into therapy with the goal of this to become more self aware and accommodating of personal difficulties.
