When I was young I gave my family neck and shoulder massages to help ease their pains, it just felt like the right thing to do. I enjoyed the feeling of helping people.
I completed Remedial Diploma in 2011 and gravitated to a style that was both Remedial and Therapeutic. I added myofascial cupping for chronic muscle tension, hot stone massage for a deep relaxation, and a Certificate of Pregnancy Massage to aid my pregnant clients more.
I realised in pregnancy swelling & oedema was an issue and found incorporating Lymphatic Massage into pregnancy treatments gave great relief. I decided to pursue further Lymphatic training added Decongestive Lymphatic Drainage to my skill set. This allows me to help clients with Lymphoedema both primary & secondary, including those with lymph nodes removed.
This method of massage allows me to help people with Odema, Lymphoedema both primary and secondary and those who have had nodes removed due to cancer.
