I am the owner of Bodyharmonix, a Biomechanics, Rehabilitation and Fitness Centre in Brunswick Victoria. It is the only facility in Melbourne that offers Functional Patterns, a biomechanical training methods designed to enhance and improve posture, stability, balance and strength.
I have seen the long lasting and devastating effects that an unbalanced posture can have on muscles and bones, such as herniated spinal discs, wearing of the joints, tearing of muscles, under stretched tendons and ligaments and even restricted breathing. I have seen the depression and frustration poor posture can cause when focus is not on reversing results.
