Dr Matthew Palmer is a specialist dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. After completing his Bachelors of Biomedical Science, and Science with Honours at the University of Melbourne, he undertook four years of graduate medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Dr Palmer worked at the Royal Brisbane Hospital for two years prior to commencing four years of Dermatology specialist training. Dr Palmer trained in Brisbane and Melbourne, and was also selected to undertake 12 months of his training in the United Kingdom. His training covered all aspects of general medical, surgical, and paediatric dermatology. Dr Palmer has published papers in the Australasian Journal of Dermatology as well as internationally, and has spoken at national Dermatology conferences. He has broad interests in all aspects of general, paediatric, and surgical dermatology.
