After completing his undergraduate training at the University of Queensland, Dr Lambley undertook postgraduate surgical training at various hospitals throughout Queensland. This was followed by post-fellowship training in breast and endocrine surgery at Mater Health where he is now a Visiting Senior Specialist and Director of Surgical Services. He is on several hospital committees focused on the quality and safety of healthcare.
Dr Lambley is a member of BreastSurgANZ , the American Society of Breast Surgeons, International Society of Surgery, Breast Surgery International, Breast Cancer Trials, Clinical Oncological Society of Australia and has an appointment with BreastScreen Queensland. He participates in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings for patients receiving care in public and private sectors. Dr Lambley is a senior instructor on the ASSET (RACS) basic skills course.
